Candle Calculator privacy policy

The short version

The Candle Calculator Android app does not collect, send or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics.

What stays on your device

Recipes you save, cure dates, burn-test notes, your prices and your unit settings are stored only in the app's storage on your phone. We never receive them. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.

Sharing

If you tap "Share", your phone's share sheet sends the recipe text to the app you choose. That happens on your device; we don't see it.

Links to hrcandle.com

The app can open hrcandle.com in your browser. The website uses Google Analytics to count visits; see the HR Candle site privacy policy. The web version of this calculator (hrcandle.com/candle-calculator/) is covered by that policy too; its saved recipes are kept in your browser's local storage only.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
